Point-and-click survival horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is now available to download from Steam for Windows PC.
The game takes place 30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors, according to the game’s description, with the events taking place there evolving into an urban myth.
“The owners of 'Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction' are determined to revive the legend and make the experience as authentic as possible for patrons, going to great lengths to find anything that might have survived decades of neglect and ruin. At first there were only empty shells, a hand, a hook, an old paper-plate doll, but then a remarkable discovery was made… The attraction now has one animatronic.”
Developer Scott Cawthon first confirmed that the Five Nights at Freddy's 2’s sequel was on its way and in development via email at the beginning of the year. Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 then surfaced on Steam Greenlight late January, offering fans a hint at what they can expect in the survival horror.
Five Nights at Freddy's was first released via Desura on August 8, 2014 with its sequel launching a few months later on November 11. Both titles are available on Windows PC, iOS and Android.

Here's Why Resident Evil Revelations 2 Isn't Coming to the 3DS

 http://im.ziffdavisinternational.com/t/ign_ap/articlepage/h/heres-why-resident-evil-revelations-2-isnt-coming/heres-why-resident-evil-revelations-2-isnt-coming_79b2.1920.jpg

As we all know, Resident Evil Revelations was born on the 3DS in 2012 before moving to console the following year. So why has developer Capcom avoided releasing its sequel on Nintendo's handheld?

The answer it seems, is technical. "The original game was released on home consoles a little while after the 3DS. It was called the 'Unveiled Edition' in Japan but just Resident Evil Revelations for consoles in the West," Revelations 2 producer Michiteru Okabe told Digital Spy.

"That's where our starting point for the sequel is in a sense, the versions that were already on home platforms.

"It's partly a technical reason. We have our own custom engine called the MT Framework, and as the mobile and home console versions are quite different technically, given that we were taking the home console versions as a starting point, it just led somewhat naturally.

"We tried to release it on as many platforms as we could, and that later became a selection of current and next-gen Xbox and PlayStation platforms as well as PC, so that's how we ended up with that."

While we will see Revelations 2 on one handheld device - the PlayStation Vita - that version is being handled by Sony.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will hit the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and PS Vita initially in episodic installments, with the first episode due to hit February 24.
